FAQs

Most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Does my dog get time out of their kennel?

We let all dogs out of their kennels daily.

2. What vaccines are required?

We require that pets be up to date on their Bordetella, Distemper-Parvo and Rabies vaccines. We do suggest the Canine Influenza vaccine as well as flea, tick and heartworm prevention but those are not required.

3. Can we drop off or pick up on holidays?

No, we are closed on the following holidays: New Years Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. We do close at NOON on Christmas Eve.

4. Do we provide dog food while boarding?

Yes. We feed Pet pantry, an adult based, chicken and rice kibble.

5. If my dog eats wet food, can I bring that?

Yes, we would be more than happy to add in your pet's wet food to their dry or solely feed your pet the wet food they prefer.

6. My dog is on medicine, can you give them that?

Yes we have you covered! We can adminsiter any medication necessary, from injections to pills. There is a $1.00 per dose per day charge for medication administered.

7. How big are your kennels?

We have 2 boarding space options:

Our "Blue Rooms" are best suited for our older, smaller dogs. The smaller accomodation are 3 ft by 8 ft while our larger kennels are 5 ft by 8 ft.

Our In/Out kennels allow your dog to be inside and have access to a covered outside area that is 4 ft by 12 ft. The outdoor section is closed at bedtime, leaving them in a space of 4 ft by 4 ft.

8. My dog did not eat a lot while in boarding, is that normal?

Yes. Boarding for some animals can be stressful and can cause them to lose their appetite. We do everything we can to encourage them to eat. Our efforts may include adding wet food, warm water or even peanut butter to their daily meals.

9. Do you accept dogs that are not spayed or neutered?

Yes. We group intact animals in certain play groups with that factor in mind.

10. What is your cleaning policy?

All kennels get cleaned and disinfected twice daily. While kennels are being cleaned, dogs are out and away from that area for exercise or play time. All areas dogs come into contact with are cleaned daily as well.

Of course! We can give your pup a full groom, neat and trim or just a bath if you would like. A grooming starts at $50.00 and the price is based off of your pet's size, coat condition and the desired cut. A bath starts at $35.00 and is the price is also based off of your pet's size and coat condion. We also offer nail trims. A nail clip is $10.00 while dremeling is $15.00.

Baths include shampooing, conditioning, ear cleaning and a nail trim.
